Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate (UG) Programs

Candidates applying for UG programmes must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (+2) or its equivalent from a recognized Board (Tamil Nadu State Board / CBSE / ICSE or any recognized board).

• Course-Specific Requirements

  • Arts & Commerce Courses (B.A., B.Com, B.B.A):

    • Pass in +2 with relevant subjects as prescribed by the affiliating university.

  • Science Courses (B.Sc.):

    • Pass in +2 with relevant science subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biology, depending on the chosen discipline.

• Selection Basis

  • Admission is generally based on merit in the +2 examination, subject to university norms.

• Age Limit

  • No specific age limit, as per University and Government of Tamil Nadu rules.

Postgraduate (PG) Programs

Candidates seeking admission to PG programmes must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Educational Qualification

   • Must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.

2. Course-Specific Requirements

   • The qualifying degree must be related to the PG programme applied for (e.g., B.Sc. for M.Sc., B.Com for M.Com), as prescribed by the affiliating university.

3. Minimum Marks

   • Candidates must have secured the minimum required percentage of marks as stipulated by the university norms.

4. Selection Basis

   • Admission is based on merit in the qualifying degree and may include counselling or interview, if required.

General Conditions (Applicable to Both UG & PG)

• Admissions follow the Government of Tamil Nadu reservation policy.

• Final admission is subject to verification of original certificates.
